Entrepreneurial skills and risk willingness are inextricably linked with each other. Know-how has a significant impact on both of these features. Carl Stephenson, the founder of Elements Eights' brand, had over twenty years of experience in the industry and the co-founder - Andreas Redlefsen - though less than five, but in J. Wray and Nephew Limited itself. E8 is a marketing masterpiece in which the very name of the brand clearly indicates the educational nature of the entire message. The eight elements are the eight aspects according to which 'this very rum' was composed. All bulleted on the bottle, you won't miss it.
The brand was founded in 2006 and offers a solid product at affordable price. The owners position themselves in the premium segment and admit that rum category is underestimate. A result it makes extremely difficult to promote the brand on the luxury goods market. I agree and at the same time I'm benefiting.
Ten years after the debut, the graphic design of the product has been re-styled. Tall and angular bottle has been replaced with a more handy one. Clear, purely showroom design have given way to a more sophisticated one. At this point it's worth mentioning that here reviewed 'gold' is currently sold under even more refined name 'vendome'.
The producer did for me already, kind of. While counting, let's raise together fingers up (carpenter, don't give up). From Guyana [1] comes the raw material - molasses [2]. Naturally filtered with rainforest water [3], cold fermentation with three yeasts strains [4], rum is triple distilled in: copper pot still, a Vendome Kentucky Bourbon copper pot still and a steel columnar still [5]. Aged for up to six years under unmerciful caribbean sun; in barrels after Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey [6]. Fourth and fifth element results in ten rum parts, which will be used for final blending [7]. Finally charcoal filtering [8].
